It’s a virtual decorating and interior styling service, tailored for you. When you have a blank canvas or don’t quite know how to pull a room together, E-Design allows a room in your home to achieve a more cohesive, elevated and polished look. It covers anything from spatial planning, paint colours, furniture and lighting selection.

E-Design is a perfect fit for anyone who likes to work in a collaborative online process. It’s for someone who enjoys shopping online for home decor and furnishings.

Unlike more expensive full design services, E-Design is a more affordable option for someone who is used to ordering furniture and decor online and is able to implement the e-design on their own.

You can of course independently hire someone that can help you put together furniture or install art, lighting etc. There are many affordable local services for that type of work.

Once you receive your E-Design, you get to take charge and implement the design. You can choose to buy a select few items from the Shopping List or to buy them all, it’s totally in your hands.

Because this a more affordable option to design, more custom elements are not included. These usually require on site visits for very precise measurements. All of the items recommended will be available for purchase at a retail level.

You will be provided with a handy guide to help you measure your space. All you really need is a simple hard measuring tape, pencil and paper.

The measurements are extremely helpful in allowing me to create a spatial plan that works for your rooms dimensions.

Don’t worry you don’t have to scale the drawing, that’s my job!

Paint is sometimes a tricky element. We will analyze your space according to your colour preferences that you provide in your questionnaire as well as taking into consideration the style of your room and the light/sun exposure your room gets.

I will provide up to 3 options for wall paint colours. You will then be able to order affordable real paint samples to try directly on your wall. You get to choose the colour that you like from there.

The 3-D renderings and spatial plan are done in a CAD program called Sketchup. They are intended to show a representation of a product. For example, what a right facing sectional with certain measurements will look like in your room. The exact products will be included in your Design Board and Shopping List.

If case goods like bookshelves are included in your design, I will give you a few decor options to include for your shelves.

The actual styling of bookshelves is a bit of an art, that is included in an upcoming separate styling package.
