A love for interiors has always been part of my life. I even redecorated my law school dorm room—because fluorescent lighting and beige walls weren’t exactly dreamy. That early spark led to hands-on experience in high-end renovations, where I shaped my approach: refined, grounded, and quietly intentional.
To deepen my skills, I earned a diploma from the Interior Design Institute and an Advanced SketchUp Certification. I was also mentored by one of Australia’s top interior designers—an experience that helped me hone both my eye and my process.
I’m a right brain/left brain thinker—drawn to colour and mood, but equally focused on how a space flows and functions. My training gave me the tools to turn ideas into clear, thoughtful plans—with space for beauty and practicality to meet.
Through Dear Alia, I offer virtual design for people who want their home to feel cohesive and personal—without the overhead of a full-service firm. Whether it’s layout, styling, or a second opinion on a design detail, I help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
